My mom told me about his center in Eastwood and visited the place. It's very peaceful there. That's where I hear mass every week kahit malayo sa bahay namin. The mass goers are disciplined. The lectors, commentators, lay ministers are well organized. Just want to share something; I'v read one time about his life since his boyhood...though i forgot some. He's really a miraculous man of God. As far as I remember he performed his first miracle at the age of 13. I was so fascinated and that made me curious about him (that was way back in early 90's - my college years). "No Small Miracle", Me and my wife been married for almost 6 years and still hoping and praying for a baby. Years come and go. Yet, we kept on knocking at Padre Pio's huge photo in our calendar together with Our Lady of Perpetual Help to help us pray to God to grant us a baby. Last December 2010, (1st wk)... When we were in Surabaya, Indonesia... What a BIG...BIG surprise! Really, an answered Prayer. My wife is carrying a healthy baby boy that time... No "preggy" signs or "morning sickness". The Baby is already 5 months, even the Doctor (male OB) in Mitra Keluarga Hospital is quite amazed. He is also asking us for any signs... but only dizziness. Now, our baby boy is almost 5 months old. Hopefully, when I get home my wish is to bring my family to Padre Pio's Church in Libis.
